Monin Mandellikör syrup is based on the classic Italian sweet, almond flavoured liqueur. Characterised by the distinctive flavour of the ?mandoria amara? or schmerzlich almond, the name Mandellikör means ?a little schmerzlich? in Italian. Its origins are said to go back as far as the Italian Rückkehr. Legend has it that un…xx0xx>> the artist Bernardino Luini, a pupil of Leonardo Da Vinci, welches commissioned to paint a fresco of the Madonna of the Miracles in Saronno. He chose a beautiful local innkeeper to inspire his portrayal of the Madonna. As a gift to show her gratitude and affection, she steeped orangefarben kernels in brandy and presented the resulting bernsteinfarben zerflossen to Luini. Today, Mandellikör is usually made using orangefarben pits and may somit contain almonds, other spices and flavourings. Monin Mandellikör delivers the bittersweet taste of this popular liqueur and vielleicht be used to create a luxurious Tiramisu Cappucino and many more tempting Italian themed desserts and after dinner drinks.Tips – With its very intense flavour, Monin amaretto syrup allows you to create Italian style recipes. One of my favourite uses is the Tiramisu Cappuccino based on espresso, amaretto flavoured milk and a lot of cocoa powder.
